Introducing Claire

Our precious baby girl, Claire Katherine Harper. She weighed 6 lbs 15 ounces. We are so happy that she is finally here. So precious , sweet and tiny. She reminds me of how Ethan looked when he was first born. Claire is almost the exact same size that E was.
The proud big sister, Ellie holding Claire. She likes Claire to have the bow on her head.

The proud big brother Ethan.

E's first day of Kindergarten

Ethan in Mrs Stevens class today. Parents saying farewell.

These are the before pictures. I'm not sure if Richard will take any pictures at school. E wants just daddy taking and picking him up today. I'm pretty sure I would be a basket case. Hopefully we'll get some more pictures before the day is out.

Here he goes.... Unlike my days... no yellow school bus.... parent chauffeur instead.

Ethan's running shoes

Okay so this was a big deal for Ethan. Having always worn cowboy boots, crocs and tie less tennis shoes, Ethan never learned to tie his shoes. Since Kindergarten starts next week. I thought it time we remedy that. So daddy proposed to Ethan last week that if he learned to tie bows that he would get him a pair of running shoes like daddy's. After successful practicing on my chair pad's ties for two days he got quite good. Last night, E got his new shoes and went on a run with daddy. 3 miles later they returned. I was impressed, to say the least.

More Summer Fun

Today, the kids and I went to the zoo with our friends the Thomas's. It was pretty hot for Co standards. I was kinda hoping I might go in to labor afterwards. But no luck yet. Yesterday, we went to the Fam Camp at The AFA for R's Company Picnic. We had a great time. The kids loved getting to ride one of R's co-worker's horse. Her name was Lexy.
These pics were taken at the Library Summer reading bash last week. There was a star wars exhibit with live storm troopers in attendance. E loved this.

Even an armadillo.... in Colorado? Thanks to Texas Roadhouse. Ethan below ,with gal pal, Ava Courson.

And a helicopter that the kids got to sit in. pretty cool.

Summer Fun

Check out that big old Zucchini. There is nothing like cooking dinner for my family from my garden. The lettuce has been great this year. Onions a big small so far. But the squash and Zucs are great. I think I made Zucchini fritters and Chicken Caesar salad this night.

Ethan's first time in a Roller Rink. He had so much fun scooting around. I was so proud to see my boy out there confidently trying something new to him.
Richard and the kids mowing the yard before the evening showers come in.
